After considerable screening and a lot more Redditing than should be thought about healthy, weve concluded that Apollo for Reddit may be the choice that is premier many people. Its a thoughtfully created, customizable, and easy-to-navigate experience that simply been able to beat down our past choose, Narwhal (though it had been such a detailed competition involving the two so it very nearly doesnt matter).
Introduction
Reddit is just a tough spot to love often. Once we published initial type of this review back April 2016, we penned about how precisely we invested years preventing the website just like the plague. Day while thats no longer the case, there are still some deep, dark corners of Reddit that should never see the light of. Even yet in subreddits, its difficult to have a discussion that is innocuous without one devolving into a Facebook-esque governmental debate or other things people feel just like arguing about.
However, it is possible to continue to have a time that is great Reddit, so long as you follow two guidelines:
Rule # 1: adhere to a few subreddits that focus on your interests that are exact. The greater amount of niche, the higher. Once you find a residential area you like, cling to it for many its worth.
Rule # 2: make use of an app that is awesome keep pace with those subreddits, and possibly perform some occasional searching elsewhere.
With this 2nd guideline at heart, had been right straight right back having a brand new and improved report about the reddit clients that are best for iOS.
A great deal changed when you look at the couple of years because the edition that is first of article. Two associated with the apps from our initial list have died, a different one ended up being changed by Reddits own application, and weve got a couple of brand brand brand new challengers from the list — one of which includes in fact be our brand brand brand brand new top choose. We had been since amazed as anyone.

Everything we look out for in a Reddit customer
The entire point of third-party Reddit apps is that you will get to bypass being forced to make use of the website it self or Reddits very own software, neither of that offer the maximum experience around. We wouldnt have written this article and you wouldnt be here anyway if they did.
Therefore, a handful is had by us of requirements that each Reddit client well worth its salt should attempt to satisfy. The reddit apps… that is best;
- Are very well created and simple to utilize, from navigation to everything and readability https://hookupwebsites.org/escort-service/las-vegas/ between.
- Sport a specific standard of polish. (Bonus points for extra-thoughtful or wonderful details.)
- Provide access that is extensive Reddit features, from fundamental to advanced level.
- Feel right in the home on iOS.
- Feel just like a value that is good that which you pay.
Regarding the value front side, what weve found is just about any application within our tests ended up being absolve to down load but offered some sort of in-app purchase, typically to get rid of advertisements and/or unlock features. The upside of free-to-download Reddit clients is the fact that you are free to test the whole industry without having to pay a dime. Nonetheless, it will get without stating that when you’ve plumped for a well liked application of the very own, you ought to pay money for the IAP and support that developer’s work.
